Dear IDBF friends,

Co-organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association, the legendary Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races (Event) will be celebrating its 50^th Anniversary next year and will continue to take place in the beautiful Victoria Harbour, Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade on 27 – 28 June 2026.  You are cordially invited to nominate ONE dragon boat team representing your country/ region to compete at the following race categories of the event:

Each team will be offered a hosting package as shown below:

1. Waiver for participation fee
2. Complimentary accommodation for 24 persons on share room basis (i.e. maximum 3 nights for teams representing countries/ regions in Asia between 26 and 29 June; maximum 4 nights for teams from Africa/ Europe/ North America/ Oceania between 25 and 29 June)
3. Invitation of maximum 24 persons to Celebration Dinner on Sun, 28 June 2026

Prize monies will be offered to the best performing teams for the International Open Grand Championship, International Mixed Grand Championship, and International Women’s Grand Championship. Details will be provided in due course.

Please feel free to share the race information to other dragon boat teams in your country/ region and they are welcomed to join the races at their own costs.
